Why is everything about the US & UK at the sec?

On our daytime tv we are sharing more and more tv shows especially comedy. Even most the questions on yahoo in politics section are UK & US when there are other countries fighting the war. OK we all know about the war, but has something else happened that im not aware of, or am I imaginging it?? There are other English speaking countries but always UK & US.
Dont get me wrong, I love it, its the only place I can go on holiday and enjoy having a night in the hotel if I needed a rest…… like a home away from home- its just I have been to alot of countries and I just havnt experienced this sort of ’sharing’ before!

Canada is welcome to do like the UK and US.Nothing is stopping them.

Yea, but we actually like the UK and we in general have similar interests abroad and domestically. Seriously do you really want to be like the french when you could be like us. Seriously?
