The view from the cheap seats of your elections?

Would you as an individual vote for internal politics or external world based politics from the leader of your nation?.
Do you as an individual care about the rest of us or just your own country?.

Yeah, the problem with the Republicans for the past 8 years is that they were externally focused AND dumb about it.
It would be better to have an administration that was more domestically focused.
But it is best to have an externally focused administration with good sense.
Yes we care. We have given more aid to countries in distress than anyone in the world. But let me tell you how this American feels. If this country votes for Obama, he will cut our defense system so much, we will not be able to defend our UK friends or any of our allies. John McCain or Hillary Clinton are the only candidates that have intrest in protecting the US and the democracies of the world.
Right now my own country. We have a mess to straighten out. Maybe then we can worry about the rest of the world, which, by the way helped get us into this mess.
